Doomed to Atrophy is a deeply personal project for me. It is an attempted expression of my sadness, anxiety, and loneliness.

I often find myself being attacked by the anxiety of a thought. What if all I do amounts to nothing? What if I am just doomed to fade out? I frequently find myself in a cyclical state of intense depression and anxiety because I'm not motivated to do anything, while I'm not motivated to do anything because of depression and anxiety.

I created the tracks on here at my lowest points. It's not meant to be some crazy philosophical piece of art. It is merely my try at expressing myself in the best way I know how.

The process of making it and even my own time listening to it has aided me in those darker times. I hope it can do the same for you.

The passage above was written after this was finished in September 2020. I am doing a lot better now and lead a pretty good life. I still have lots of anxiety and do fall into bouts of depression, but I can't complain. I hope you all enjoy the album!
